Families in Warwickshire are being offered the chance to make small changes to their lifestyle thanks to free Change Maker courses which are available across the county. Change Makers is a nine week family lifestyle programme which aims to help families improve their lifestyle through fun healthy eating and physical activity sessions. The programme is for families with children aged between 4 and 12 years of age who want to try fun healthy eating activities, new foods, sports and playground games.
Each week the team will deliver a variety of fun games and activities for the family to take part in together, whilst having access to expert information and support. There are guest speakers including local sport clubs and cooking groups, all delivered in a relaxed environment. Previous courses have included making healthy baguette pizzas and muffins, group dance sessions, ultimate frisbee and Star Wars dodgeball to name but a few.
The free, local, 9 week course is open to any family within Warwickshire who would like support and advice to make small positive changes to their lifestyle. Change Makers has been successfully delivered in Rugby for four years and is now available county wide.
